Marketing Manager - Residential Property Developer

My client is a leading private developer that is well known for delivering high quality mixed-use and residential projects. Based in Melbourne they are seeking to add headcount to their sales and marketing team to ensure the successful sale of their residential projects.
In this role, you will report into the Sales & Marketing Director and will take the lead within the marketing team to drive the strategy and set the programme to ensure that successful leads are established for the sales team to

This role will require the following from the marketing manager:
  • Build a marketing and brand strategy to expand and enhance this developer’s position in the Melbourne market to drive engagement with the brand and increase sales
  • Craft the product plan with a 18 month – 3 year timeframe that will have direct focus on identifying opportunities that place and promote the brand to deliver lead generation and sales conversion
  • Set, deliver and manage budgets that clearly track spend to performance and communicate results on all marketing activity week to week
  • Explore and propose different marketing activity and channels (social, digital, mobile, database etc.)
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Director to soundboard strategy and decide how marketing plans will be executed.
  • Manage external third party relationships such as Advertising and Marketing agencies
  • Build and maintain effective relationships within the internal and external stakeholders
  • Effectively lead and manage a team of 4 which includes marketing and design.
 
Experience required:
  • 7+ years' experience in marketing management with proven success in delivering marketing strategies in either property development either in residential, retail, commercial etc.
  • Highly commercial, analytical and a data driven thinker who is driven by outcomes and success
  • Strong ability to plan ahead and drive the marketing programme from a strategic point of view
  • Excellent people manager that can get the best out of the current team, yet identify where they need to be development and why
  • Experience in implementation of effective marketing strategies, reporting, insights and recommendations
  • Proven success in database growth and customer acquisition
  • Ability to scale programs and campaigns quickly, and assist the team in executive if required
  • Financially astute, a good planner and well organised
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship building skills that will be utilised internally and externally.
