Systems Support Specialist

Position Summary

As a Systems Support Specialist you will be responsible for the operational aspects of client’s IT Infrastructure and Applications. You will provide technical expertise around performance, integration, security. You will work directly with third party vendors to ensure the smooth and efficient running of multiple SaaS platforms. Build and maintain a positive relationship between IT and business areas, and ensure timely support of day-to-day business processing needs. Balance workload between in-house and outsourced resources and manage the ongoing business systems related projects.

Essential Areas of Responsibility
  • Assist in troubleshooting software application issues providing direct resolution or escalating through appropriate channels
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements
  • Liaise with third party vendors to ensure appropriate standards are maintained and to make any changes required
  • Write and maintain technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc
  • Participate in regular meetings with the IT vendor to discuss progress and issues to be resolved
  • Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT issues
  • Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are adhered to during the development process to support a quality deliverable to the client
  • Provide support to all staff with current IT systems across both Sydney and Melbourne with a commitment to be on site one day per quarter in Melbourne
  • Management of the core recruitment platform
  • Enhancing Bullhorn processes to gain efficiencies in the end-to-end recruitment process from candidate acquisition to placement of the candidate
  • Management and implementation of enhancement requests from the business
  • National Database Standards monitoring
  • Database hygiene
  • User training
    • Ensuring all new users are trained within 1 week of starting with client
    • Managing training guide is updated appropriately when enhancements to the system are made and new processes need to be included
  • Reporting
    • Ensure that appropriate reports are available for the business
  • Systems License Management
    • Ensure the systems licenses for each user is created, maintained and removed when needed
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar or Support role
  • Ideally from a recruitment/staffing industry
  • Strong working experience on Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience on any renowned CRM tool ideally Bullhorn
  • Experience with reporting tools such as using Excel and Cube19
  • Strong communication skills
  • Tertiary education in either Computer Science, IT or Business Information Systems
  • Understanding of ITIL standards
  • Good presentation and training skills
