About the Role 
Reporting to the CFO, you will be the Procurement Function Lead, responsibility for shaping a category savings strategy and executing best practice process outcomes that deliver success across all the key focuses including price, risk, quality, ethics and sustainability. Your dynamic demeanour combined with your hands-on approach, will build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and suppliers that allow you to drive initiatives and work conducively to deliver a best in class procurement function. This is a greenfield role, and as such you will need to be hands-on and motivated to drive outcomes. Key to success will be the preparation of spend analytics, supplier performance review and a providing a category plan that delivers optimal pricing whilst ensuring excellent vendor performances. In short, you will provide leadership through ideas, outcomes and people engagement to deliver the wins and showcase a best in class procurement function.   

About You 
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in delivering wins, whether measured by category savings, stakeholder engagement, vendor relations and the roll-out of efficiency for business process flow to ensure a robust framework is implemented. Your confidence in reviewing spend and executing a commercially viable Strategic Sourcing approach, combined with creation of an SRM framework will be well received. Naturally, to support this greenfield launch you will demonstrate positivity, pro-activity, sensitivity and diplomacy to understand pain points and provide a well received solution to the Group. Experience managing a diverse range of Goods & Services categories would underpin success in the role; notably Labour Hire, Services, Utilities, Food & Beverage, Catering, Facilities & Property Maintenance, Construction & Refurb, Waste and Telco for example.
