About the Role 
With a remit to work across the Group, you will lead a spend review and vendor rationalisation initiative to bring together a preferred supplier list under contract for direct & indirect categories that achieves category savings and manages the risk, quality and sustainability. You will engage collaboratively with key business functions including packaging, production, supply chain and quality etc. You will need to forge an interactive working relationship to achieve shared goals and understand pain points. The end to end procurement responsibilities include a capability build for best practice, achieved by focusing on Strategic Sourcing, Raw Materials & Commodities Management and Hedging; Preferred Supplier List, Contracts Management, Category Management and Savings Strategy, Spend Analytics, Vendor Rationalisation, Supplier Relationship and Performance Score-carding, RFQ, Tenders, Terms of Business negotiation, Risk & Quality Assessment and Audit. In short, perform a thorough group-wide review of current processes and the supply base; generate savings leveraging group spend and work in a business partnership model to support the broader business functions in their operations. Ensure optimal vendor relationships are attained whilst conducting dashboard reviews to highlight their performance including quality, risk, ethics and sustainability.  

You will be an experienced Procurement Manager with a track-record of success managing end-to-end, hands on procurement initiatives. Your passion will translate into a collaborative working relationship with stakeholders and suppliers. You will be comfortable executing a Category Management Savings Strategy supported by a robust framework and best practice process. This role will require you to be both operational and strategic to deliver the wins. You will be innovative and insightful having led similar procurement capability build to identify the best suppliers to partner with supported by optimal pricing and risk management. Candidates with an FMCG, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Pharma or similar, would be highly relevant.
