Description 

The Credit Administration Officer will support with Mortgage Credit process with the following:

• Handling administration and enquiries from borrowers on existing loans via email and Phone
• Assisting the answering of the main phone line when required
• Experience with credit underwriting and loan application processing
• Loan file administration pre-settlement
• Compliance with relevant legislation & regulatory requirements
• Post-approval borrower & finance broker liaison by phone, email and online
• Ongoing data management (including spreadsheet management)
• Strong analytical skills and high degree of numeracy
• Preliminary credit assessment
• Data entry into loan management software
• Settlement processing
• Conditions precedent follow up and control
• Instructing solicitors on loan Documentation
• Knowledge of loan discharges and Property lease agreements.

Profile

• Broker and commercial lending experience (need both)
• Experience in (major financial institution preferred):
• • Property finance
  • Credit operations
  • Mortgage loan administration & associated software
• Experience working with credit managers
• Experience managing settlements process and enquiries, customer service and phone calls
• Ability to operate within a high volume environment
• Organised and remains calm in stressful situations
• Excellent communications skills; written and verbal
• Solid work ethic 
• High attention to detail 
• Aptitude to engage with all professionals including Lawyers
