Client Details

The client, Autopak Vetlab is a market leading contract manufacturer of animal health products boasting a purpose built facility based in St Marys, Penrith. The client has a growing order book and has several exciting years ahead.  Delivering into the worlds’ largest manufacturers of animal health products the business provides a huge opportunity for a polished customer facing Supply Chain and Customer Service Manager to shape the future of client delivery.


Reporting into the Managing Director this newly formed role will be accountable for leading and managing production planning, customer service, purchasing and other related supply chain areas as required (inventory etc). Responsible for updating Supply Chain SOP’s and Policies within a GMP framework the role is also responsible for developing analytics, systems (involvement in an ERP upgrade) and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports in order to ensure product supply to market, and continuously improve Supply Chain processes. The role will be a roughly 50/50 split between account management and supply chain activities, specifically you will, via your one report: 
  • Act as main point of contact for all customer accounts (continuing and expanding relationships with customers ranging from global multi nationals to small independent manufacturers) with a strong focus on sales forecasting and delivery
  • Manage purchasing, planning and sourcing
  • Review demand forecasting and control production planning
  • Optimise S&OP and continuously improve all supply chain processes, systems and personnel
You will be a dynamic influencer and change agent with world class supply chain experience able to build strong internal and external relationships.   • A proven Supply Chain Manager with Customer Service/ account management experience. Experience will be gained from within a pharmaceutical, animal health, Food, contract manufacturing or similar highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Preferably you will have a Tertiary Degree in Chemistry or Supply Chain related subject
  • Extensive experience leading a diverse supply chain team through a period of change and growth with an emphasis on customer and key account management
  • You will be proficient with ERP systems, Navision being a major preference
