Infrastructure Project Delivery Manager

  • Newly created role focusing on the delivery of industrial land estates
  • Must have experience in delivering industrial, logistics, business park projects
  • Have a strong project management background to manage all 3rd parties
Client details:
My client is a national property developer and funds management business that due to growth in their project pipeline is seeking to add headcount with an experienced delivery expert.

Role details:
  • This role requires the Project Delivery Manager plan, manage and deliver industrial, logistics and/or similar projects
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be required to ensure accurate financials and management project associated budgets, and all 3rd parties
  • Appoint and manage 3rd party consultants to complete project design
  • Have the ability to seek out opportunities to implement strategies to ensure delivery of this project in line with the development plan and business strategy
  • Manage project related commercial and contractual agreements to ensure delivery of agreed project outcomes
  • Appoint, negotiate and manage contractors across projects
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance and Sustainability targets
  • Developing and managing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Manage project related Health, Safety & Environmental
  • This role requires a high level of ability to assess, identify and manage all potential risks associated to the delivery of the projects, as well as developing recommendations for project risk mitigation
  • There will be an opportunity for this candidate to provide their expert opinion on the delivery of projects and the market
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have the proven experience to deliver all aspects of industrial, logistics and/or similar projects; candidates from similar asset classes such as Health, Retail and Commercial will also be considered
  • You will have at least 7 years of Project Management experience with a strong background in construction and delivery
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Property and Construction discipline

  • Up to date and excellent knowledge of Building Codes Australia, local authority and Fire Brigade requirements
  • Strong financial, budgeting & project forecasting skills
  • Proficiency in preparing and tracking project programmes
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team and provide leadership and mentoring
  • Experience and strong commitment to HSE
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
