They are currently inviting a Trading Manager with a speciality in either  meat / seafood / Poultry / fresh or perishables the opportunity to join them in a role that will see you able to challenge the status quo and be a disruptor in this space leading the way for your peers and potentially the industry. 


Description
  • Source and negotiate the best national and local deals
  • Lead the charge with price, promotion, range and brands
  • Explore and implement new ways of partnering and working with suppliers
  • Drive innovation and differentiation to deliver on shopper needs
  • Own the strong supplier relationships - profitability, DIFOT and supplier engagement
  • Track trading performance, conduct reviews and recommend improvement
Profile
  • You will have had an extensive career in buying or category management
  • You have exceptional negotiating skills that build mutual partnerships
  • Have a passion for innovation and differentiation, willing to think outside the box
  • Have strong influence skills with both external and internal stakeholders in matrix structure
  • Display excellent commercial understanding and acumen
  • Are resilient and inspirational not afraid to challenge for the greater good
