A leading Australian institution are looking to add a Business Intelligence Developer to their Technology team.

This is a twelve month fixed term contract located in the CBD. 

Your key responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of multiple, complex platforms and technologies to enable effective integration and utilisation of enterprise data and well organised into data
  • models.
  • Develop and maintain complex business rules in reporting that are driven by outcome and goals
  • Develop and maintain an active culture of technology awareness within the organisation
  • Prepare the current BI platform to move to Azure Data Warehouse
What we need from you
  • Strong experience in dimensional data modelling skills.
  • Business Intelligence analysis
  • Business Intelligence requirements gathering
  • Proven knowledge in Kimball and 3NF DWH data modelling methodologies
  • Reasonable experience and knowledge in Azure data warehouse
  • Medium to advanced experience in Power BI reporting
  • SQL Server, Azure DWH, Azure Data Factory, Azure data bricks
  • Working Knowledge in Data Lake/Azure Data Lake storage, federated Data warehouse
  • Strong SQL scripting
  • Stored procedures
  • Medium to advanced experience in ETL
  • Experience in Power BI
  • Basic understanding on CRM dynamics
  • Ability to comprehensively document Business intelligence solutions
  • Knowledge in Microsoft tools such as Flow, Power Apps, etc.
  • Contribute technical expertise to requirements analysis to enhance the quality of the solution design
  • Complete testing and gather feedback to improve the quality and reduce operational risk of the developed application
  • Development and maintenance of technical and process documentation
