 About the role
This position is a Senior Leadership position within the Spotless Division.  This role will provide leadership, strategic direction and management oversight of the following businesses in the Hospitality & Industries sector:
  • Recreation, Entertainment, Sport and Tourism at iconic venues;
  • Integrated Facilities and Asset Management for private sector customers;
  • Resources – Villages and Facilities Management;
  • Food Innovation; and 
  • Centres of Excellence for Security, Cleaning & Hospitality.
This role oversees a large revenue base of $750M and a workforce of over 10,000 people with geographic reach across Australia.  The business areas are a core part of the Spotless business and their success is critical to the overall success of the overall Spotless group and brand.  
This is a dynamic and fast-moving portfolio, with blue chip clients and a focus on modern, innovative food and hospitality offerings and integrated facility and asset management solutions.  
The EGM Hospitality & Industries, has accountability for the Line of Business and contributing to the profitability of the Spotless Group.  The focus on the role is to drive improvements in the way each of the businesses are managed in order to:
  • boost financial performance,
  • be customer-centric,
  • develop a collaborative and performance-driven leadership team,
  • create a vibrant hospitality culture across Australia.
This role will work closely with the CEO and the CFO to ensure financial outcomes are met and will be a key member of the Spotless Senior Executive Team. You will also work closely with the EGM, Strategy & Growth to develop an improved growth strategy and enhanced customer focus.  
Whilst customer retention is a key part of this role, new business and new customers are critical to future success.
There will also be a strong focus on building a great leadership team to support the EGM and deliver the Hospitality & Industries strategy.  This will involve nurturing existing talent and driving the right culture and behaviours to ensure energised and engaged workplaces.  
A focus on driving ‘Zero Harm’ across the workforce will also be a critical focus of this role.
This role will be required to drive improved collaboration between the sectors in order to provide better experiences and more co-ordinated outcomes for all customers.
About the ideal candidate 
You will be an experienced and highly qualified executive candidate already.
You will come from a customer centric environment with the relentless determination to ensure that customer satisfaction and delight  is always at the core of all decision-making. 
Coming from either a direct competitor in an equally senior position or from a related hospitality, leisure or retail business, you will have vast experience from within a senior executive role of driving successful outcomes for both the business and your people. 
You will have a natural passion for food and hospitality. Whilst you may not come directly from that work industry – your interest in food, global food-trends and lifestyle must be evident. 

Your knowledge also across Facilities Management, will be  strong. A key focus of this role is also delivering client-solutions across cleaning and security; being at the forefront of how facilities and asset management is delivered.

Your customers will trust you to manage their assets, from single sites, large campuses through to a national portfolio, in some cases with full operational responsibility across all FM service lines. From long term planning to day-to-day services, your aim will be to make your client’s facilities smarter, greener, safer and more efficient.

This is a national role with national coverage. You can be based anywhere, but a strong preference is given to Sydney or Melbourne. There is significant travel required for this role.
