Client Details
Our client is a global FMCG company with a growing presence in Australia and New Zealand, now employing over 300 people across the two branches.  The company has a strong focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and Innovation.

As the Demand Planner you will be responsible for constructing a demand plan that enables the planning of stock through the global network. Ensuring the optimal level of inventory for all sales in Australia. The Demand Planner will be collaborating with Sales, Central Planning and the Factories to ensure effective S&OP and end to end demand and supply planning.  6/12-month Fixed Term Contract initially with the view to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain and review baseline sales forecasts for finished goods
  • Upload and maintain baseline for demand plan
  • Review demand plan weekly and process necessary amendments
  • Process Demand Plan into SAP APO
  • Analyse demand variances, identify trends and anomalies and improve forecast accuracy
  • Maintain and monitor level of inventory
  • Monitor, report and liaise with factories on supply performance issues
  • Discuss forward production plans to schedule out potential problems
  • Maintain and upload any new SKU into the Item Master and planning files in Planning system
  • 1-3 years of experience in similar position
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline
  • Experience in forecasting, demand planning, production and inventory management
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of physical distribution system
  • Customer service and order management experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset
