Development Manager

Our client is a local private property developer with developments across Australia, with a focus on Melbourne. They are seeking to add an additional headcount into their development team focusing on an office development within an inner Melbourne suburb.
 
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of this office project, along with residential built-firm project/s moving forward. This will require you to manage all associated 3rd parties, assist in setting the leasing, sales and marketing strategy. This role requires a high level of ability to assess, identify and manage all potential risk to the project, as well as developing recommendations for project risk mitigation. My client seeks to deliver a high-end quality project, therefore strong attention to design and construction is required.
 
Developing and managing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholder's is a priority in this role as you will be responsible for managing the external project managers.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering all aspects of a project from a construction perspective. They will have at least 8 years of property development experience with a notable developer and will have a degree in either real estate, construction or similar.
 
You must have experience in development and have the knowledge to manage the inputs and outputs for a commercial assessment.  Have the ability to problem solve, plan and have strong organisational and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising and managing stakeholders at all levels.
 
This is currently a small and flat structured business, so you must have the desire to work in a small team that is tight knit.
