FutureYou have partnered with a large metal manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of a Payroll Supervisor to join their team. Due to some internal projects, the Payroll Manager will be seconded off-site for the foreseeable future and they need a strong Supervisor to come in and Manage the team.
You will have a team of 7 direct reports and joining the Finance team.
This business has recently won a number of projects recently which grew the head count significantly. They have an extremely complex payroll as they operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across Australia and New Zealand. This is a high volume, intense payroll but the team are wonderful, longstanding team members with lots of cakes and snack exchanges! They all work extremely well together, offering a host of benefits such as flexible working hours and ability to work from home.
- Processing high volume payroll using Chris 21 and Kronos
- Full function, end to end
- High volume enterprise agreement and award interpretation
- Management of 7 direct reports
- Management of on-site Managers, ensuring all timesheets are accurate
- Compliance checks
- Project assistance
In order to be considered, please ensure you have at least 5 years in a processing role with Management or Supervisory experience. Those without team management will not be considered. Ideally, Chris 21 is preferred.
In return you will receive $100k - $110k + Superannuation. They have plenty of parking on-site as they are based in a large industrial centre with the wider finance/operation team. This is a large organisation, they have an excellent culture with plenty of flexibility and benefits. The Manager will be hands off and you will be managing the team.
