Our client is seeking a Head of IT to be a trusted business partner to review, evaluate and implement an ICT strategy which identifies the future direction of the use of technology within the organisation to drive efficiency's. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Planning:
  • Provide advice to the leadership team on the application and use of ICT to provide excellent services working closely with the management team to overcome business challenges with the use of technology
  • To identify solutions and opportunities to improve organisational performance
  • Interface with retail operations to enable technology for improved customer experience in store and employee efficiency
  • Research options for future ICT development
Project Management:
  • Be a champion of transformation change, optimising current IT solutions whilst promoting innovative solutions to operational challenges
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Prepare and implement project plans to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Procure, negotiate, manage and monitor of contracts for ICT services provided by third parties ensuring effective service delivery
  • Manage the relationships with contractors and suppliers
Leadership and Management 
  • To be the senior technical manager and to contribute to the development, implementation and review corporate strategies, annual project plans, policies and procedures
  • To develop and maintain positive relationships with key partners and business function (Ops, Marketing, Finance etc)
  • Manage a small team
Financial Management
  • Build collaboration within the organisation to develop feasible and cost-effective technical solutions that align with business goals
  • Contributed to in-depth business case and market analysis as well as technical requirement assessments to create comprehensive strategic plans and recommend strategic direction in short- and long-term spending
  • Manage Capex and Opex

  • Proven experience as a Senior IT Manager or similar role within Legal, Accountancy, Consultancy Firms
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specification
  • Sound hands on understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks
  • Experience in controlling information technology budget
  • Excellent organisational, communication, leadership and influencing skills
