Client Details

A reputable and respected educational entity is seeking to appoint a competent HR Officer into the team. Operating in the Western Sydney District, our client provides HR Generalist support to a number of business units. 


The HR Officer will provide HR generalist advice to a number of business units across the district. The core responsibilities of the the role are as follows:

  • Undertaking HR investigations (or liaising with independent investigators) for business units across the district
  • Assisting in the research and development of human resource projects, programs and training 
  • Working in partnership with governing body to deliver high quality services to workplaces including providing operational support to expedite the delivery of Employment Relations advice
  • Provide input into issues impacting the strategic direction of people management for workplaces including enterprise agreement/Award application, human resource related policies and practices and other HR/ER projects or programs
  • Assist in the monitoring of performance review process compliance by guiding managers in completing reviews within respective time-frames
  • Ensuring effective records management, data integrity, reporting and analytics


To be successful in this application, it is imperative that you have in-depth experience and knowledge of current legislation. Our client needs someone with a sense of urgency, a level of approachability that will resonate with all staff members and a pro-active work ethic. 

You will be self-motivated and with the confidence to respond to all enquiries on behalf of HR. In the same breath, you will have the confidence to ask for advice in times of uncertainty. 

Experience and Qualifications: 
  • Tertiary qualifications in the relevant area of study or equivalent experience from a legal background
  • Our client would consider a candidate from a legal background because of aptitude to decipher and apply legislation.
  • Appropriate demonstrated experience
