With an APAC remit, your focus will be primarily to look at conflicts across Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. This role will also be looking at the anti-money laundering policy, due diligence, sanctions, politically exposed persons and helping to bring best practice UK regulations as well as implementing them in Sydney.
This role is a dual Conflicts and AML role however experience in AML is not a pre-requisite. In order to be considered for this role you will have studied law at university and have a legal background, but you need not be admitted. You will have the skills and confidence to review & analyse databases (both locally and globally) & advise the business on conflicts. You will have outstanding communication skills with an ability to effectively manage and influence key fee earning stakeholders across the business and work relatively autonomously in a fast paced environment.
