About the Role
As Procurement Manager you will lead and invest in an existing team of high performers, whilst assisting to develop their scope, scale and exposure to sizeable, best in class procurement practices. You will be responsible for creating a robust commercial framework that takes the procurement function to the next level, positioning it to support the needs of the business, as it embarks on a significant expansion plan. You will be comfortable sourcing suppliers and partnering with OEM third-party manufacturing based overseas. You will coordinate an SRM tool and Contract Management framework that ensures that existing suppliers exceed expectations pertaining to price, quality and risk. In short, you will engage constructively and commercially with overseas based third-party providers to ensure that best practice is being executed within the centralised procurement function, that delivers a strong contract administration and vendor database, whilst score-carding existing and potential suppliers and evaluating the principal KPI's of price, risk, quality, sustainability and ethics.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will have an exciting procurement resume that clearly details your international exposure and commercial procurement category wins across a variety of sourcing and contract management responsibilities. These will include expose to third-party manufacturing agreements based overseas and vendor management of the finished goods etc. In short, you will know what good look likes when it comes to overseas sourcing, contracts management and building vendor relationships. This is an end-to-end procurement role that requires you to have a full, autonomous capability, to manage and inspire your team whilst delivering a procurement function fit for purpose as the company rapidly expands.
