Our client is a leading national law firm with a well established and highly successful real estate practice. A terrific new role has arisen for a property development lawyer with at least 4 years PQE to join their friendly and collegiate team.
This is a rare leadership opportunity to be 2ic to a very approachable partner who is also known to be an excellent mentor. You will work predominantly on the full life cycle of property development transactions and all associated documentation. You will be supported by a strong team. The work is primarily residential development focused including vacant land subdivision and major apartment complexes, but there is opportunity to also work on some commercial and industrial developments. You will have plenty of involvement with clients and will supervise a small team, which has an open culture and friendly outlook.
Our client will consider lawyers with at least 3 years PQE specialising in property, ideally focusing on large residential developments, you are proactive and engaging; you enjoy client interaction and mentoring junior lawyers. You might be already in a leadership role, or are ready to step into one and you enjoy the social aspects of working in a great team. Flexible working practices will be happily considered, including 4 days a week.
