Client Details

FutureYou have partnered with an FMCG business based in the Sydney South in the recruitment of a new Credit Control Officer to join their team. The business has gone through a large change over the last couple of years and are looking to expand their Credit team. This team have grown significantly over the last 5 years through acquisition and the finance team are looking for someone who is keen to keep up with them! They have a team of 5 in the Credit team, reporting into the Accounts Receivable Manager and working closely with the CFO and Finance Manager. 

This is a permanent, full time position.

The ideal candidate is someone who wants to go into a team to own their ledger and grow! They are looking for someone to make improvement recommendations, someone who can collect the money and teach them how to do this better!

Description

Your day to day duties will include:

  • Collection calls
  • Ledger management of approximately $2m monthly
  • Constant process improvements
  • Streamlining processes
  • Allocations
  • Banking 
  • Credit application assessments
  • Autonomous control of ledger

Profile

In order to be considered please ensure you are ready to take on a challenge and have at least 2 years in a similar role doing so. Industry experience is not necessary. Experience with collections is essential.


Job Offer

In return you will receive $65k - $75k + Super. They reward well, offering bonuses and team target rewards. This is a very fun and busy working environment, they are loud and always busy on the phone. They're based in an open plan office based in the South of the Sydney CBD.
