This well established Accounting Firm is seeking an Administrator to work from their Ascot Vale office.
Working directly with managers and partners, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with reception: Answering the telephone, making appointments, responding to client inquiries, rescheduling;
- Daily reconciliation of the Xero accounting system in relation to client payments.
- Accounts receivable: Sending payment reminders, issuing client invoices, providing weekly reports to directors of overdue accounts;
- Scanning of client documents to the client file;
- Lodgement of Tax Returns – checking workpapers for inconsistencies and inaccuracies prior to lodgement;
- Issuing Annual Company Statements from ASIC and preparing insolvency declarations;
- Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of other ASIC-related forms, minutes and document;
- Assisting with general office maintenance;
- Making drinks for clients and preparing meeting rooms for client meetings.
- Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office Suite
- Previously have used Xero
Competitive salary remuneration package based upon experience $55,000 - $65,000 package
