We have partnered with a large and successful fast-food organisation with multiple locations and expanding. They are seeking an experienced Franchising & Leasing Coordinator to support the National Development Manager (NDM) on a temp contract with an opportunity to go permanent.


Description

This role assists the NDM by administering the franchise recruitment & leasing processes and the necessary licensing & reporting requirements. Responsible and accountable for all leasing & franchising processes and associated administrative responsibilities, being the point of contact and resource for all new and potential Franchise Partners.
  • Ensure all lease documentation is accurate, recorded and monitored whist ensuring requirements are met;
    • Liaise with leasing agent regarding leases for approved properties
    • Review lease documentation with solicitors
    • Prepare table of suggested amendments and send to Landlord solicitors
    • Finalise lease document and distribute to parties for execution
    • Maintain lease register & monitor renewal dates 
  • Coordinate the Franchisee application process
  • Field initial franchise enquiries via phone and email in a timely manner
  • Support the NDM by facilitating communication between potential candidates throughout the approval process
  • Arrange candidate interviews and diary management for the NDM
  • Assist the NDM with marketing to potential franchisees
  • Assist with the preparation of Site Letters of Offer to approved franchisees
  • Liaise with Franchisees regarding requirements for openings and transitions
  • Liaise with NDM regarding budgets & ensure all costs are recorded and communicated
  • Coordinate, produce & maintain Franchise agreements, other related agreements and amendments
  • Ensure all signed agreements are forwarded to appropriate stakeholders
  • Coordinate franchise lease submission and compliance

Profile
  • 1-3yrs experience in similar administrative roles in Leasing, Legal or Franchise sectors
  • Experience reviewing & understanding retail leases and other legal documents
  • Strong organisational skills and capable of juggle multiple projects and deadlines
  • High attention to detail, thoroughness, & follow up skills
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills; Confident to liaise with key stakeholders
  • Friendly & outgoing personality; a Representative to potential new Franchisees
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction & collaboratively within a team
  • Must use initiative and have a proactive approach to all tasks
  • Knowledge in the franchising industry, including Franchise Code of Conduct is highly desirable
  • Intermediate skills with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint
