Client Details

Our client is a global fintech company who is a true innovator in its field.  As a result of continued strong growth, a new role has been created for a Compliance Officer to join their Risk and Compliance team, initially on a 12 month contract basis.  


Reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, your role will involve working closely with the business to identify owners of compliance obligations and to document control activities, design and implement appropriate controls for newly identified compliance obligations, advising the commercial, finance and operations teams on their compliance obligations, developing compliance training and maintaining and updating the compliance system.  Specifically, your role will ensure compliance with Australian Financial Services laws, data privacy, anti-money laundering as well as other relevant international regulations.


You have strong compliance experience gained in a highly regulated industry such as superannuation, finance or energy or experience as a financial services lawyer in private practice. You are proactive, commercially astute and enjoy working closely with the business as a trusted advisor.
