Client Details

A leading representative of prominent services across Australia, our client is recognised for providing Tier one services and insights to their members. With member and staff interests at the core of their offering, our client can offer a collaborative and encouraging working environment. 

Located in the Sydney CBD area, our client is seeking to appoint a number of strong communicators into the Membership Renewals team, in a temporary capacity, and in a drive to educate and renew memberships. The Membership Renewals Associates will make on average 60 calls per day to existing members.


The core responsibilities of the Membership Renewals Associates are as follows but not limited too;

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date Membership database
  • Process membership applications and renewals
  • Process payments
  • Provide regular and ad hoc membership lists, statistics, information and reports as required
  • Respond promptly to member/potential member enquiries (telephone, email etc)
  • Follow-up lapsed members and produce reports on why members lapse
  • Support member acquisition, retention and renewal campaigns and related activities, including market research, as required
  • Update and compare data to ensure accuracy of information
  • Manage email address bounce backs and unsubscribes 
  • Contribute to and ensure compliance with membership management policies and processes
  • Undertake other relevant tasks as required


To be successful in this application, you will be comfortable in making a high volume of outbound calls and have the aptitude to bring the organisations' offering to life whilst being able to effectively handle any member objections. Non-negotiables for the role are as follows:

  • Tier 1 communication skills
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or an outbound customer service position
  • Reliability and an ability to commit to the assignment
  • Demonstrable ability to trouble-shoot and objection handle
