The Role 

Strategically source, manage and close new business development contracts that are larger than a million dollars.   Working within the organisations key account team as the successful candidate you will thrive in developing key relationship with senior executives across a target market/sector.  The life cycle of deal generation and closure can be lengthy, however highly rewarding in terms of the size of contracts closed, commission and personal recognition.  This is a career defining role that will take a successful BDM’s experience and capability and nurture it with all the tools, people and support required to be a pinnacle role in your career. 


You will enjoy delivering business targets through navigating organisations to find the key stakeholder, building long term relationships and managing tender and large contract bid work.  Strategic planning is a skill you have honed to build target companies to engage with.  Understanding the common gaps and issues within a vertical you will be able to be able to keep ahead of the competition and be able to respond quickly to potential opportunities.  You will have thrived in tenders and bid processes for large pieces of work and understand long life sales cycles and pipelines. 

With this in mind you will be a strategic Business Development manager with strong communication and influencing skills looking to deliver their career within a solutions sales environment where success is rewarded with a great package and commission structure that is uncapped.
