Our client is one of Australia's largest diversified property group - owning, developing and managing a large portfolio of retail centres, industrial parks, residential communities and retirement villages. This role will be located at their recently redeveloped shopping centre in Regional Ballarat.
This role is to run and manage the full operational functions of this sub regional shopping centre. You will need to ensure it presents at very a high level at all times whilst working with the wider property team. You will assist in setting and managing the ongoing CAPEX and OPEX budget and it will be your responsibility to make sure that the shopping centre is always operating and presenting exceptionally well.
You will come from a strong property background and have a minimum of 3+ years plus of working experience in a position within Facilities or Operations Management in retail shopping centres. Whilst having a technical background is important, so is an outgoing personality to work within a small team environment and the ability to liaise with associated third parties is important. Strong communication and customer service skills are sought, along with a proactive and positive work approach.
