Lead the design and implementation of an end to end Integrated Planning Process to ensure forecasts, purchase orders and stock levels are in alignment with business requirements. Establish forecast accuracy measures and work with stakeholders to capture voice of customer to reduce risk of over and under-supply. Establish planning best practices for our Australian market. 

  • Design and implementation house forecast system to capture historical sales, forecast variations , lead time, safety stock, MOQ and monthly statistical forecast reports
  • Establish proactive Backorder reports and reviews to ensure optimal stock levels
  • Ensure the demand planning process is timely, accurate and verifiable
  • Establish process and Co-ordinate and maintain the long term forecast in conjunction with sales and marketing
  • Attend and contribute to IBP meetings
  • Assist with the implementation of optimum inventory levels to ensure delivery to meet agreed service levels  
  • Assist with coordinating long term monthly requirements with all relevant business units
  • Work closely with supply planners to ensure production is aligned with forecasts
  • Provide performance feedback to sales, marketing, operations and logistics
  • Design thinking around process implementation and improvement


  • You will have at least 5 years' experience in a Demand Planning leadership role
  • Exposure to a flexible, customer driven supply chains including specific experience in demand planning
  • Good understanding of forecasting systems and project management fundamentals
  • Excellent stakeholder management, organization  and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively cross functionally
  • Experience with JBA or equivalent system  would be highly regarded
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to make strong decisions and engage current team members
  • Proactive communication and data driven decision making skills
  • Tertiary educated to a Bachelor level or above is highly regarded
