NSW State Manager

Client Details

A large building products manufacturer in Western Sydney is currently looking for a Business Unit Operations Manager to cover NSW and NT operations. 


This is an exciting General/ Business Unit Manager level role for a recognised name in the building products sector. Reporting to the Operations Director the role holder will have P&L responsibility for three sites in 2 states.  With accountability across the entire business covering maufacturing operations, commercial, estimating and customer management you will have 100 reports through a flat management structure. In particular you will be challenged with Continuous Improvement implementation to raise output, championing health and safety across the plants and attracting new contracts and projects from existing and new customers. With some advanced capital equipment and stable long term contracts the business requires a hands on leader with strategic vision who is able to streamline and improve operations and truly engage and develop the management team across the sites.


Your background will be at General Manager level with your experience gained from a building products/ materials manufacturing operation. You will have operated at Business Unit Manger level with full commercial and operational responsibility across more than one site and be able to evidence strong profit and loss and financial ability. You will have streamlined operations and improved manufacturing plant capability within a similar industry and be able to evidence significant achievements regards safety and operational effectiveness.

Circa $200,000 + Super
