Based in Melbourne CBD our client helps high net worth individuals and mid-market business owners to maximise their wealth creation strategies and to increase their business values through their holistic approach.

Due to a recent internal promotion in the firm, our client is currently seeking an energetic, career driven and ambitious Senior Accountant for the Business Advisory and Accounting areas to join their fantastic team. You will be provided with direct mentoring from the Partner who is an active ‘hands on’ leader. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Assistance in the Business and firm's development where required
  • Provision of Tax and Business Advice for a variety of Clients in various industries and group structures
  • Assisting the Manager with the management of the flow of the team and team budgets
  • Developing the understanding in other advisory areas such as mortgage, insurance, and virtual CFO reporting
  • Contact clients directly from day one

 In order to be successful in this role, it is essential you have:

  • Must have 4 + years local experience in professional services / public practice 
  • Must be CA/CPA qualified, or approaching qualification
  • Have experience in the preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and companies in wide range of industries
  • Have experience in the preparation of FBT returns, BAS's and payroll tax;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong collaborative and team relationship building skills;
  • Excellent quality control and work papers are a necessity
