My client is an independent Medical Device distributor that has been active within the market for nearly 40 years and employs over 50 people. Due to continued growth within the Australian market and actively targeting exciting, pioneering technologies, my client is seeking an experienced individual to join the team to take the lead in driving sales for their Cardiology and Emergency Care portfolio.
Key objectives of the role will be to establish initial sales and drive growth of a new product portfolio. The role will work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and execute a launch plan and also scope out new business development opportunities. The expectation of the role is that it will be spent in the field through direct customer interaction with responsibility given to financial metrics, taking into account sales & gross profit.
The successful candidate will have a background in medical device sales with a broad and in depth knowledge of the hospital environment. They’ll be able to demonstrate a strong ability to develop and implement a strategic plan whilst also having a proven track record in sales and relationship management, at both the clinical and commercial level. A sound knowledge of cardiology products is a must and any emergency care product experience is a bonus.
An autonomous position within a small and collaborative team awaits. An excellent salary package is on offer, including base salary + super + car allowance and incentive plan.
