Business Process Analyst

Role Purpose

This position will drive process realignment, improvement and implementation across the business as it undertakes an operating model change. This includes:

  • Reviewing and developing information, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures that pertain to this project
  • Working with other Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate and document procedures and work instructions for activities impacted
  • Reviewing ‘’as is’’ and defining ‘’to be’’ process maps to understand current and future state processes
  • Working with the stakeholders to ensure that the project deliverables are accurately captured and approved
  • Building procedures, guidelines and manuals in line with the written directions framework
Role Responsibilities:

Support and Drive the Portfolio and Transformation Office with transformation initiatives and projects including:

  • Operating Model Realignment
  • Process Optimisation
  • Workflow Standardisation
  • Work with the business to provide support on documentation and delivery of process mapping following best practice standards
  • Work effectively with all stakeholders to understand and analyse solutions to business problems
  • Identify & analyse process issues and recommend system and process changes / improvements
  • Support the team in accurately assessing and interpreting stakeholder process flows
  • Identify, escalate and drive the resolution of process inefficiencies, issues and risks and work to eliminate barriers that would impact the organisation
  • Own the coordination of process metrics, data and reporting to ensure the accuracy of documented processes
  • Drive the progress of process improvement projects across numerous stakeholders and groups
  • Provide process mapping support for improvement initiatives including development of process maps, validation with business units and training/up skilling
  • Support the provision of updates to a variety of stakeholders including senior leaders and executives on process change and transformation
  • Proactively encouraging stakeholder engagement through the creation of an environment of collaboration, best practices and knowledge sharing

  • Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Solid Project Management skills with proven success working on complex transformation projects
  • Significant business process effectiveness/development experience
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Experience working as part of a larger team
  • Business, Commerce or IT Bachelor Degree
  • Experience in process mapping
  • Business Process certification (highly desirable)
