Head of Technology

Our client, a successful start-up story within the on-line property sector currently looking for a Head of Technology to help develop and execute their future strategy and road-map to support future growth plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting directly into General Manager, the role is a department lead for the end to end delivery, maintenance, security and stability of new and existing products, ensuring strong collaboration with the senior team
  • Develop the company’s strategy and road-map for technology that supports the company’s core objectives
  • Grow and maintain strong and authentic commercial relationships with key strategic partners, identifying opportunities for business growth
  • Audit current platforms and provide short, mid and long term technology road-map in line with business strategy and budgets
  • Ensure scalability of all products and systems in line with business strategy
  • Identifying cost and process efficiencies to factor into the technology road-map
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to understand all business requirements to produce outcomes that are consumer & customer centric and meet the needs of each department in order to generate profitability
  • End to end project management and execution of the technology road-map and management of all associated resources
  • Representation of Leadership and fostering a positive, professional and collaborative culture
  • Remain at the forefront of technology solutions to maintain competitive advantage

Requirements:

  • Highly numerate, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to deal with colleagues and customers in a positive, friendly and supportive manner at all times
  • Exceptional business awareness/commercially minded
  • Personal drive and commitment to perform to a high standard.
  • Highly organised and diligent with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to multi-task through effective planning, prioritising and organising of workload.
  • Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts to deliver sound technical leadership
  • Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree
