My client is an industry leader within Financial Services known for its high-performing culture and work/life flexibility. They are looking for a high performing Senior Financial Analyst to work closely and partner with the Senior Executive Leadership team to drive insights, analysis and performance reporting for the Group.

Description
 
Responsibilities include senior stakeholder management, insights & analysis and performance reporting at Group level:

  • Drive insights, analysis & Group reporting for the Deputy CFO, CFO, CEO, SLT and Board.
  • Prepare Group budgets, forecasts, 3-year plans and track actual performance to plan 
  • Prepare the monthly Group CFO Report detailing the Group’s financial performance to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team 
  • Prepare quarterly performance reporting and commentary on key business drivers
  • Build financial models & manipulate data to generate insights & analysis on the Group's P&L
  • Perform deep dives on business performance, perform scenario analysis and driver analysis
  • Build strong relationships and be the go-to person for the Group CFO and Executive Leadership Team 
  • Perform adhoc analysis as requested by the Group CFO and Executive Leadership Team
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance

Profile
 
To be successful, you must have:
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar Group Performance Reporting role within Financial Services/Banking/Insurance 
  • Must have strong analysis, insights, financial modelling and reporting skills within Financial Services/Insurance
  • Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and C-suite
  • Sound analytical skills with an ability to assimilate information
  • Intermediate / Advanced modelling skills using Excel. Ability to build pivot tables, v-lookups and complex formulas
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

 
Job Offer

$120,000 to $125,000 base + super + bonus potential.
